It's a small world...literally

Last weekend, I was able to see the Great Wall of China, Mt. Kilaminjaro, Times Square, the Eiffel Tower, the Pyramids of Egypt, the Colisseum and many more all in one day!! YES....you read that correctly!!

Aiins World is a theme park here in Bucheon which has miniature recreations of world famous buildings and landscapes. It takes you on a tour of all the continents sans Antarctica, even though I felt as if I was in Antarctica with the cold weather. I was shocked by the detail of each recreation.
I have been lucky enough to see a fair number of the recreations, but there were still so many that I have not seen!! This prompted me to come up with my next life goal...to see all of the recreations in Aiins World in real life by the time I am 30. I am hoping that whenever it is that I am done teaching, I will have enough money saved up to do some extensive traveling and will be able to knock these out much before 30!

After Aiins World, we got out of this world at this awesome hookah bar!! It is meant to look like you are in space or on the moon. It was fabulous and I can't wait to take Kel & Ker there when they come next month...Ker, you're going to LOVE it!! We had a great time there and the hookah was really good.

This week also reminded me of how small the world is when my most plaguing problem back in the US struck here...yes, I broke my first cell phone here in Korea!! Well, technically I wasn't the one who broke it, and it isn't actually broken, the screen is just cracked....but still!! I have been here one month and the cell phone curse has already struck!

It seems as if this was the week for things to break in my life. I was in the shower washing my hair when the water stopped coming out of the shower head and was coming out of the faucet, so I pushed the "on" lever on the shower head down and the water began flowing again. Then...suddenly, water starts shooting out of where the shower head is screwed on, and before I know it, the pressure launches the shower head off and water is shooting all over my bathroom!! I quickly turn the shower off and of course am laughing in hysterics!! I try to fix the problem, but to no avail. So, for now...my shower is working like a hose...the water shoots in a stream straight up into the air and then comes straight back down.
